The Nebelhornbahn takes you to breezy heights – within one hour, the black-yellow cable cars transport up to 600 people to the summit. Whoever dares to go up will be rewarded with an unbelievable view: When the weather is clear, you can see up to 400 surrounding summits from the top of the Nebelhorn.

And if the weather is not that clear, at least the culinary soaring flight is guaranteed at the futuristic summit restaurant. If you are looking for the ultimate thrill, you’ll surround the summit at the Nordwandsteig – a free view into the 600m deep abyss included.

Tourist magnet ATW

Every year, many tourists and locals use the Nebelhornbahn; from the valley station in the middle of Oberstdorf they start their comfortable way up. Since 1930, the aerial tramway covers an elevation gain of 1,400 m and brings old and young safely to the summit.

In order to get to the top, you may have to put up with longer waiting times sometimes. That’s why the Nebelhornbahn-Aktiengesellschaft now decided to cover the queues with several Ecotent® pop up gazebos. In that way, the passengers of the ATW are guaranteed optimum protection from sun and rain and therefore they can be looking forward to the ascent without any stress.
